Monica Jade and the Case of the Diamond Smuggler

Detective Monica Jade is working undercover as the associate of a diamond smuggler and has gained his trust. He tells Monica that he has acquired a new stash and he wants her to examine it. He instructs Monica to meet her at a place away from town and Monica agrees. What she thinks is a routine check in turns out to be something more sinister. The smuggler is aware of who Monica is and holds her hostage. Next thing Monica knows, she is bound hand and foot and gagged with a wide strip of duct tape over her mouth. The smuggler knows he is found and must decide what to do with Monica but not before taunting her. Then, he decides to make a break for it and stashes Monica in the bathroom. This time however, Monica is taped up and wraparound gagged with tape. It is hours before Monica's partners find her.
